About Laura

Laura brings her rich experience in fiber arts to the Meridian studio.

An artist all her life, Laura fell in love with textiles and fibers at East Carolina University. ECU is where she received her BFA in Textile Design and was recognized with the Senior of the Year Award.

Recognized for her work as a designer and colorist with well-known fabric designer, Wesley Mancini, she designed lines for Collins and Aikman and Kravet Fabrics.

In her own interior design shop, she digitally printed on fabric and traveled to many shows on the East coast including New York’s Artrider Show and Sheckey’s show in Manhattan. Her artistic skills also expanded to surface design with Laura painting murals in large office buildings and large homes surrounding Lake Norman.

Laura has taught art to young students in the 2nd through 5th grade at Providence Day School . And as the mother of young twin boys Ethan and Gavin, Laura has an endless supply ideas and projects for the young as well as the not-so-young!

She is also known for her work printing and designing custom fabrics for the design industry. Interior designers and architects rely on her for work that “sets them apart from the others, showing off their unique creativities for their clients.”
